I used to work for a call center and as sucky as that job was, management was very adamant in disallowing use of mobile phones at work. So can anyone please explain to me why Ethan Shaw had a mobile phone while at the 36th floor? Oh, sorry for the spoiler, but I don’t think that is something you should concern yourself with. Eagle Eye is not perfect. It has a lot of small loopholes, which may, to the untrained eye (hehe) be non-existent. However for a paranoid individual slash conspiracy-buff that could be me, these things stick out like a sore thumb.

But if you would just let your inquisitive mind go and just focus on the big picture, I’d have to say that Eagle Eye is a great movie. It’s not a classic, I think, and it’s no Minority Report (which has its own flaws as well). However, the action sequences are still superb. And deny as you might want to, there’s a big nagging feeling that inters tests all of us about the reality and existence of Big Brother. It’s kinda funny though that Aria’s voice reminds me so much of the female Vice-President (who later became President) at Prison Break.

Anyway, I recommend that you watch Eagle Eye. It’s a great action movie, the kind you can fully appreciate viewing it inside a movie house. The plot may not be all too original and the ending may be reminiscent of other movies like Rendition. But who cares really. Shia and the female rocks!
