One Book To Rule Them All

If I were stranded in an island and could only bring just one book, then it wouldn't be The 22 Immutable Laws of Branding (plus the 11 Laws of Internet Branding). This one is so interesting and easy to read that it only took me 24 hours to reach the last page with no skipping at all.

However, if I were to go into the real dog-eat-dog world of business armed with only one book, then it would be this book. It summarizes all of the Al Ries Books that I have read such as Focus, The Origin of Brands, The Fall of Advertising and the Rise of PR, and Positioning. Of course, it's not good to be only blessed with one-sided thinking. If you really wanna feel wise and all, you should also read about the evils of diversification, line extension, and so much more.
