Quick Movie Reviews

May 3, 2006

The Sentinel

The Sentinel (April 28, 2006 GB3 C1 9:40 pm) is a nice conspiracy movie. It keeps you on the edge about basically two things. First, if Michael Douglas is really the bad guy. Second, if Kiefer Sutherland is the bad guy. Fortunately, the movie does not dwell on the corny plots other conspiracy slash assassination flicks employ as a twist for the ending. It wasn’t really as action-packed as most action movies right now but it is a good break from the conventional blow-you-away special effects in most movies.

D’ Lucky Ones

My sister wanted to watch a movie with me and her boyfriend, Fritz, last May 1 at Robinson’s Galleria, 730 pm. We are d’ unlucky ones. Nevertheless, Eugene Domingo is still a great actress.
