I highly recommend this movie to both kids and kids-at-heart. As an animated film with a penchant for gluttony (imagine an ice cream winter), it’s quite obvious why kids would love this. However, what makes me really appreciate this movie is its smart and witty script.

Though the plot (and the location) is somewhat ridiculous, one cannot help but feel grateful that the dumbness level is still not at a record low. You can still see or hear subtle references to both scientific and intellectual facts which may appear as gibberish to some, but not for self-respecting individuals who still manages to see logic out of everything vile and stupid.

This kind of “discovery” makes wannabee smartasses like me feel smarter even more.  And so, as I said, I am inviting everyone to catch ‘Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” preferably in 3D. It’s gonna do wonders to how you see animation, science, and well, food. The peta folks are gonna love this!
